A 19th-century liqueur chest made in the period around 1840-1860. The liqueur chest is made of oak wood and glued with burled veneer. Especially for the top & front, a beautifully flamed continuous piece of burl veneer has been selected. The domed lid has decorative brass straps that continue down the front & back. On the inside, the original 4 glass decanters whose tops resemble a cushion diamond. The inside is lined with the original salmon colored moire silk. The brass hinges are original, just like the lock eye and lock (No key). Excellent Patina.

CONDITION NOTES: Wear appropriate for age. 1 minor chip on 1 top. 2 bottles have a minor chip on the lip of the bottle. Minor scratches. No key.
