Rare Chinese Antique trunk is from northern, China and is about 100 years old. This handsome red lacquer box is hand-painted in an oriental floral design with 3 birds on a branch. The panels with a floral motif under the main panel and finished with a sculpted skirt and feet. Original iron hardware. The inside is smoothly finished and can be used for blankets or pillows.
Colors of red, orange, and black.

CONDITION NOTES: Very Good Light wear consistent with age and use, Patina consistent with age and use The original black lacquer and hardware have worn over time and the paintings on the front are still visible. Slight odor noted inside.
